XCMG's intelligent supply chain management platform passes China national acceptance testing
Xuzhou-based heavy machinery manufacturer XCMG announced this week that it had achieved another milestone in the development of its intelligent supply chain platform.
The product, which has been in development for the past three years, is the first platform in China to use the Handle System developed by Dr Robert Kahn. On Friday, XCMG revealed that, in an important step forward, the platform had passed national acceptance testing.
Designed to provide a four-stage solution for information traceability, intelligent storage, intelligent logistics and marketing and services, the platform has built to help XCMG to raise operational efficiency in its supply chain.
The Handle System allows XCMG's intelligent supply chain to trace information and connection between equipment and fundamental parts, as well as inventory inquiry of offsite components, real-time market and quality feedback, paper-less mobile warehouse management and more.
