Amazon Supply Chain Services: Now Open for Business

How NVIDIA and Corning are Creating US Supply Chains

NVIDIA and Corning have disclosed a multi-year agreement focused on optical connectivity manufacturing in the US.

The partnership could reshape domestic production capacity for data centre infrastructure components.

According to the announcement, the deal includes three new manufacturing sites expected to generate more than 3,000 jobs.

US Steel: Strengthening Supply Chain With $1.9bn Investment

United States Steel Corporation has committed US$1.9bn to construct a direct-reduced-iron facility at Big River Steel Works in Osceola, Arkansas. The facility could establish a vertically integrated supply chain linking the company's Minnesota mining operations to its Arkansas steel production site.

According to United States Steel Corporation, the project is expected to support roughly 200 full-time employees and 35 full-time contractor roles. The construction phase could create an estimated 2,000 jobs at peak activity.

Nippon Steel acquired United States Steel Corporation in 2025 in a US$14.189bn transaction. US President Donald Trump approved the deal after former US President Joe Biden attempted to block it.
