Global provider of IT solutions software, HighJump, has been selected by Yobel supply chain management to administer its Advantage Warehouse Management System (WMS).

Based in Lima, Peru, Yobel is a logistics services provider, managing over 225,000 customer SKUs and handling over 15 million units per month for 700,000 destinations across the vast majority of South and Central America.

Now with the HighJump WMS, Yobel will be able to keep pace with the company's growth by offering customers more robust inventory handling services, flexibility and visibility. Andres Diez, Corporate Supply Chain Manager, Yobel SCM, said: “We reviewed the competitive landscape and found the HighJump WMS to be a differentiator in the marketplace.

“"We were the first Latin American company to offer supply chain outsourcing services in 13 countries throughout the western hemisphere, and we will continue our leadership with the adaptability of the HighJump solution and our partnership."

Yobel supply customer demand requirements in less than 24 hours, to the different distributions such as supermarkets, distributors, wholesalers, institutions, and horizontal channel retailers. Currently, the company has a regional service in 13 countries: Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, México, Panamá, Perú, Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic and USA.

Gary Nemmers, Senior Vice President and General Manager, supply chain execution group, HighJump Software, said: “Yobel SCM has been hugely successful with its international growth thus far, and we are pleased to provide it with an adaptable solution to ensure that its growth can continue and its leadership can become even stronger."

"The 3PL industry is one of the most complex in terms of customer demands and changing regulations, so we are happy to assist Yobel with this.”

The Yobel brand has been established for more than 45 years and this latest business decision looks set to keep the company at the forefront of logistics in its target regions.
