With today being World Sustainable Procurement Day - a single day event organised by The Sustainable Procurement Pledge (SPP)​ - Procurement Magazine breaks down its list of speakers to attend Procurement & Supply Chain LIVE that will be discussing all things sustainability and ESG. 

Day 1, 27th April 2022

George Lawrie, Vice President and Principal Analyst at Forrester

Where: Stage 1

Time: 12:00PM - 12:30PM (UK)

Speaking on Day 1 of Procurement & Supply Chain LIVE: The Risk & Resilience Conference, George Lawrie will be discussing: How smart manufacturing technologies are reshaping global trade patterns.

Lawrie will look at the rise of smart supply chains and how AI-infused cloud collaboration is driving a more sustainable and resilient product design, sourcing, supplier collaboration, customer experience.

Patrick O’Hanlon Chief Procurement Officer at Morgan Stanley

Those attending Procurement & Supply Chain LIVE will have the opportunity to attend a fireside chat with Patrick O’Hanlon, Chief Procurement Officer at Morgan Stanley.

Yet to have a speaker confirmed, one of the world's most trusted business sustainability rating organisations, EcoVadis will be presenting a keynote speech at Procurement & Supply Chain LIVE.

Mariam Saad, Director of Procurement, IT, and Technology Services & Ashifa Jumani Director of Procurement, TELUS

Where: Stage 3

Time: 3:00PM - 3:30PM (UK)

Both Mariam Saad, Director of Procurement, IT, and Technology Services and Ashifa Jumani, Director of Procurement at TELUS will be taking to the stage on Day 1 of Procurement & Supply Chain LIVE to discuss Sustainability in Procurement.

Day 2, 28th April 2022

Fireside Discussion

Topics will include: 

  • What is greenwashing?

Mark Perera, CEO at Vizibl

On Day 2 of Procurement & Supply Chain LIVE, Mark Perera, CEO at Vizibl will be delivering a keynote speech on ‘leveraging the power of supplier collaboration and innovation to drive sustainable business growth’. 

Christos Chamberlain, UK General Manager at Flexport

Where: Stage 2

Time: 2:30PM - 3:00PM (UK) 

Also delivering a keynote speech on Day 2 of Procurement & Supply Chain LIVE, Christos Chamberlain, UK General Manager at Flexport will be discussing: ‘Driving brand loyalty with sustainable supply chains’. 

Fireside discussion

Time: 3:00PM - 3:30PM (UK)

On Day 2 of Procurement & Supply Chain LIVE, those attending will also have the opportunity to attend a fireside discussion in the afternoon on risk and resilience in the supply chain. 

Topics related to sustainability include: 

  • Economic, environmental, political, and ethical - how do we prepare for each category of risk?
  • Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions

Alisa Bornstein, Vice President of sourcing at Visa Europe

Where: Stage 1

Time: 3:00PM - 3:30PM (UK)

Present by Alisa Bornstein, Vice President of sourcing at Visa Europe, Bornstein will be delivering a keynote speech on Day 2 of Procurement & Supply Chain LIVE where she will be discussing: ‘Building a supply chain sustainability strategy in a new reality’.
