European Cold Storage Association's Winter Conference
The European Cold Storage and Logistics Association will be holding its 2014 Winter Conference at the Crowne Plaza in Maastricht,Netherlands on February 24-26.
The two-day event, organised in association with the Dutch cold storage association Nekovri, brings together delegates from all links of the cold chain and features plenary sessions, a trade show, facility visit(s), the ECSLA Spring General Assembly and a networking dinner in a special marl cave setting.
Up for discussion will be the proposed changes to the F-gas regulations. In the session ‘A world without F-gases’, delegates can learn what the EU rules actually mean in practice for cold store operators. This will end with a brief overview and case study of what future alternative cooling technology could look like and its impact once installed.
For companies involved in the market segments of cold storage, refrigerated warehousing and/or temperature-controlled distribution, the Maastricht conference offers a great platform for learning about practical problems cold store operators’ face and informing them about new solutions and technology the market offers in order to support them in running their business efficiently.
The conference features a trade show, where suppliers can exhibit their products and services and meet with potential clients. Participation is open to all, but members from ECSLA, GCCA and all national cold storage associations affiliated with ECSLA benefit from discounted rates.
On the Tuesday a closed session for members of ECSLA will focus on the Association’s future strategy and planning.
There will also be plenty of opportunity for networking.
All trade show packages include free registration for the Monday/ Tuesday business program and the Monday night networking dinner. More details are available here.
