Yusen Logistics has increased its less-than-container-load (LCL) product portfolio with a new service to accommodate existing business from Hong Kong to Rotterdam.

The global logistics and supply chain provider has spent the past few months bolstering its provision of LCL services to match increased demand in flexible shipping options, and this latest addition further strengthens its existing hub network in the Far East, as well as its complete full-container-load (FCL) service portfolio.

Yusen Logistics operates a global air and ocean freight forwarding service from an office network spanning the US, Europe and Asia, supported by a complete product offering ranging from origin consolidation services, customs brokerage, and warehousing and distribution.

As a global supply chain leader, Yusen Logistics provides business intelligence and tracking through its in-house systems, supporting efficient and accurate control of shipments.

"The addition of our own Yusen Logistics dedicated Hong Kong to Rotterdam service is in response to growing demand from our existing customers,” Leo Schoovers, General Manager of Freight Forwarding in Benelux said. “By operating an express service with guaranteed weekly departures we are further strengthening our already comprehensive service offering.

The direct service will sail from Hong Kong every Sunday and arrive in Rotterdam 26 days later, and is supported by a domestic distribution network service to all major inland destinations.
