Intermodal South America, one of the leading supply chain conferences for the Americas, concluded last week in Sao Paulo after record attendance and plenty of stirring ideas from the brightest minds in the industry.

Over 45,000 people were present over the course of the three-day event, which featured exhibitions from a who's who of global logistics providers and transportation companies, including Antaq, Ford, Brado Logistica, and Fiat.

Logistics and transportation professionals from over 20 countries met and mingled in Sampa to figure out how to make Latin America's continuing growth sustainable.

“Intermodal South America is an event that causes a great impact in Latin America, because it brings all the key companies from the sector in the whole world in one single place," sais José Luis Demerterco, President of Brado Logística.

Improvements in air cargo freight routes and Brazil's rail sector were two of the hottest topics at this year's event, now in its 18th year. With over 500 exhibitions and more industry involvement than ever, Intermodal is primed for another 18.
