Kinaxia: New On-Demand Warehousing Offers More Flexibility
Kinaxia Logistics, a leading logistics group specialising in the UK transport, warehouse and fulfilment sectors, has unveiled a new on-demand warehousing service.
The service is available nationally to provide customers with a flexible, scalable way to store and dispatch goods in-line with seasonal demand.
As current market trends mean customers are searching for a greater agility to their logistics services, without long-term contracts, the new service presents a valuable opportunity for retailers and manufacturers nationwide.
Kinaxia’s new service is aimed at those retailers, manufacturers, wholesalers and importers that require more flexibility to build stock, handle seasonal and promotional volume changes, and have last-minute storage needs.
It will ensure those businesses are able to prevent supply chain disruption and maintain customer satisfaction and retention levels.
Growing demand for supply chain flexibility
Kinaxia’s entire network of strategic warehousing bases will cover the project, including 2.7 million sqft of storage facilities across Greater Manchester, Sunderland and East Anglia.
Michael Conroy, Kinaxia’s Chief Executive, says “We have seen that there is customer demand in the UK market for an agile national operator to quickly provide warehousing and storage space for items including beverages, consumer goods and products with seasonal volume variations, as well as for importers who need greater flexibility.”
“We have a nationwide network of wet and dry bonded, secure facilities which are accredited by the British Retail Consortium and offer some of the highest quality warehousing in the UK,” Michael continues.
“Our warehouse management systems provide real-time inventory visibility across all of our locations, integrating seamlessly with customers’ in-house systems and with the ability to call off orders at SKU or pallet level.
“Combined with our sector-leading e-commerce, fulfilment and nationwide distribution, our new on-demand warehousing service strengthens our offering of a powerful, efficient and sustainable solution for dispatch and final mile B2B and B2C delivery,” he adds.
Kinaxia prioritise customer relationships
Kinaxia’s fleet of 800 vehicles and 1,600 UK staff will work to transport goods across a range of sectors from food to leisure, fulfilling their customer’s source-to-shelf logistics needs with the added perk of this storage flexibility.
“Our strategy for this year is about getting closer to our customers and working collaboratively to deliver solutions which match their individual needs.
“The launch of on-demand warehousing is in response to customer feedback and demonstrates our ability to quickly flex to their requirements.
“It has been well-received by customers, who appreciate our agility as they seek to streamline their supply and distribution chains and maintain excellent customer service levels,” Michael concludes.
