Gatwick Airport is London’s second largest and busiest airport. It is the ninth busiest airport in Europe and the 37th busiest airport in the world by passenger traffic. In 2015 it had 40,261,212 passengers. Gatwick is Europe’s leading airport for direct flights, and has the world’s busiest single-use runway.
