eBay's Global Shipping Program (GSP) was created to simplify the process of selling internationally. Think easy, one-step global shipping.

Through the Program, the seller is completely removed from the hassle of managing customs forms, calculating import charges, and arranging global logistics.

When an item sells, the seller sends it to the US shipping center in Kentucky, and they take over from there.  From the shipping center, the item is sent to the buyer, complete with end-to-end tracking.

From 2013 to 2014, the GSP has seen tremendous growth:

  • The number of sellers using the Program increased by 53%
  • The number of listings grew by 57%
  • The number of orders increased by 125%

And now, 26% of listings on eBay are available to international buyers—all seventy million of them—via the GSP.

For more detailed statistics, take a look at the infographic in the link below, which includes a detailed map of the top GSP items by country and the top GSP countries by sales.
