Cold chain operations present unique challenges compared to traditional supply chains, given the time and temperature-sensitive nature of goods such as perishable food products. Efficiency, speed and accuracy are critical to maintaining product safety and quality.

To meet these demands, RealCold, a key player in cold chain services, is deploying Blue Yonder’s Warehouse Management solution to digitally transform its operations, with Netlogistik, a trusted partner of Blue Yonder, leading the implementation.

Expanding to meet industry demands

Established in 2022, RealCold was founded to meet the evolving needs of food processors, retailers and the food service sector. The company has rapidly expanded by building a network of high-throughput facilities and offering a wide range of customer-focused solutions.

Currently, RealCold operates five key facilities across major US consumption markets, with plans to open additional locations in Florida and Texas in early 2025. Another facility is set to launch in New Jersey by the first quarter of 2026.

To support this growth, RealCold sought a scalable, resilient SaaS solution capable of managing the complex operational requirements of its customers. Ultimately, the company chose Blue Yonder based on its proven expertise in the cold chain sector and innovative software offerings.
