Supply Chain Central to Stellantis Leadership Changes

Created in 2021 through the merger of PSA Group and Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, Stellantis stands as a major player in the global automotive sector.
The company now encompasses 14 international brands, including Citroën, Peugeot, Jeep and Vauxhall, making it the fifth-largest automaker worldwide by sales.
Now, new CEO Antonio Filosa has introduced a refreshed leadership team, featuring senior appointments in supply chain and procurement.
Maxime Picat, who has served as Chief Global Purchasing & Supply Chain Officer, has left the business, alongside Planning Director Béatrice Foucher.
"It is my great privilege to lead Stellantis, a global company with strong regional foundations," says Antonio.
"We are fortunate to have exceptional people, iconic brands and millions of loyal customers whose commitment to our products and history inspires us to achieve more.
"The leadership team I’m introducing today reflects the very best of Stellantis — internal talent with a people-first mindset, deep brand knowledge, customer understanding, specialist expertise and entrepreneurial drive that will be critical to our continued success.
"With the talent and passion of this team, we are well-positioned to lead Stellantis into a successful new chapter for both our company and the industry."
Scott Thiele named Head of Supply Chain
Scott Thiele has taken on a newly-created position as Head of Supply Chain, joining Stellantis’ top executive team.
The role consolidates functions previously housed within the Planning and Manufacturing departments.
Scott was most recently Senior Vice President, North America Commercial Performance, Cost and Supply Chain.
Expressing support for Antonio’s appointment on LinkedIn, he stated: “Antonio brings an incredible level of energy, intensity and optimism to everything he touches.
“He has a great understanding of the European, North American and South American markets. He also has a great deal of depth and experience on both the industrial and commercial side of the business.
“I am excited to see the great things that will come from him leading Stellantis moving forward.”
Monica Genovese appointed Head of Purchasing
Meanwhile, in procurement, Monica Genovese has been named Head of Purchasing.
A longstanding member of the Stellantis family, Monica began her career at Fiat in 1995 and has since held numerous senior roles across purchasing and manufacturing within both Fiat and Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, before transitioning to Stellantis.
Her most recent role was as Senior Vice President and Global Head of the Powertrain Purchasing Division.
Monica holds a Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering from Politecnico di Torino in Italy.
Antonio continues: “As we move into this next chapter of our Stellantis history, I would like to take this opportunity to express my sincere thanks to Maxime Picat and to Béatrice Foucher, for their notable contributions to Stellantis during their many years of dedicated service.
“We all wish them the best in their future endeavours.”
