What I’ve changed since taking the job is to strategise how to buy, where to buy, what to buy and to put focus on understanding the very dynamic and chaotic environment we are working in.
It’s about ensuring that we are not just purchasing and supplying, but that we understand where, why and with whom we have to work, so that we will still be able to have the right level of competitiveness and the right level of supply and volumes in an environment which is less and less certain.
Vision for the future
Looking ahead, Maxime envisions a supply chain that is both resilient and adaptable, capable of navigating the complexities of the global automotive market.
He advocates for a multifaceted strategy that includes securing long-term partnerships, investing in technological advancements and maintaining flexibility to respond to market fluctuations.
