Andreas Hubert takes responsibility for PUMA's sourcing, supply chain, logistics and sustainability, having previously served as CIO at Adidas

Andreas Hubert has officially joined PUMA as Chief Operating Officer, taking responsibility for the group’s sourcing, supply chain, logistics and sustainability, as well as product development and IT. 

He previously served as CIO at sportswear rival Adidas. 

PUMA’s Management Board now comprises Arthur Hoeld (CEO), Markus Neubrand (Chief Financial Officer), Maria Valdes (Chief Product Officer), Matthias Bäumer (Chief Commercial Officer) and Andreas.

PUMA's restructure

Andreas' move comes as PUMA carries out a restructure, shifting sourcing, IT and logistics to the office of the COO. Previously, sourcing was the responsibility of the Chief Product Officer, IT looked after by the CFO and logistics overseen by the CEO.

Strategic vision and operational expertise

Andreas joined his previous employer in 2005 and went on to hold several senior leadership roles. During 12 years in Hong Kong, he worked across sourcing functions, including as Senior Vice President of Global Sourcing.

Latterly, he led the company’s technology strategy, systems, applications and IT services for more than four years.
