In September, leaders can gain insights about transforming supply chains and implementing emissions-cutting strategies while unlocking value

In recent years, sustainability has moved to the forefront of supply chain strategies. Not only is it a resilience-builder amid climate change, but also an indicator of profitability.

Gone are the days where a sustainable transformation was seen as an additional change – if the budget could be found for it. Instead, businesses now risk loosing out on customers if they fail to implement sustainable measures.

As consumers prioritise sustainable products and clients begin to seriously consider their scope 3 emissions, businesses around the world are changing strategies.

At Supply Chain LIVE: The London Summit, hosted by BizClik and Supply Chain Digital on 8-9 September at the QEII Centre in Westminster, leaders can gain key insights into building sustainable supply chains.

Join more than 1,000 attendees and learn from more than 50 speakers as the event explores some of the biggest supply chain challenges and most innovative solutions.

A focus on sustainability

In a co-located event with Procurement LIVE and Sustainability LIVE, supply chain, logistics and procurement leaders will offer insights into how best to develop a sustainable supply chain, alongside any barriers leaders might come across in the process.

Throughout the event, sustainability will be a core focus for leaders, as they look to not only make their businesses more sustainable and more resilient, but also gain higher profitability levels.

A focussed panel will take place, exploring how organisations are embedding sustainability into their operations. At the panel, speakers will discuss strategies for responsible sourcing, carbon reduction and more. Panellists will also explore how to create environmentally and socially responsible supply chains that can actively drive business value.

The Sustainable Supply Chains Panel:

  • Date: 8 September
  • Time: 10:45-11:30 BST
  • Location: Supply Chain Stage

Shifting strategy

Sustainability no longer being seen as an added bonus, but as a strategic necessity. More than ever, climate events have become destructive, whether forest fires burning through agriculture, an increase in storms making trade routes unpassable, or intense rains making cocoa crops rot.

As a result, more businesses are opting to actively reduce emissions and support suppliers in their own efforts to decarbonise their operations.

Beyond the environmental impact, this is also in response to an increasing consumer preference for sustainable products or solutions. According to the 2025 Euromonitor Voice of the Consumer report, approximately 25% of consumers would pay more for products which clearly state their ethical and sustainable operations.

Not only are businesses seeing the environmental benefit of their changes, but they are also seeing the economic value this brings – or the losses they face if they fail to implement responsible practices.

Leaders hoping to gain insights into utilising sustainability within their supply chains will not want to miss Supply Chain LIVE: The London Summit.
