JAGGAER has introduced JAI, its intelligent, human-guided AI orchestrator designed to serve as an insightful co-pilot for procurement teams

JAGGAER REV2025 kicked off with a powerful showcase of next-generation AI capabilities designed to revolutionise procurement processes. The opening day at the Turnberry Resort in Miami saw JAGGAER introduce the world to JAI – its intelligent AI co-pilot for procurement transformation.

Beyond conventional AI tools

JAI represents a sophisticated AI orchestration platform that transforms how procurement teams operate by providing intelligent, human-guided assistance that extends far beyond conventional AI tools.

Acting as a strategic co-pilot, JAI delivers enhanced guidance, seamless navigation and innovative value creation for procurement professionals. Built within the JAGGAER One ecosystem, JAI evolves from the foundation established by Assist, the platform's earlier conversational interface.

This next-generation solution integrates cutting-edge capabilities including intelligent question-and-answer systems, automated purchase order invoice anomaly detection, AI-powered content generation and comprehensive workflow orchestration.

Through its advanced orchestration capabilities, JAI doesn't just respond to queries—it actively guides procurement teams toward optimal decisions, streamlines complex processes and unlocks new opportunities for value creation across the entire procurement lifecycle.

Intelligence foundation for the future

Jon Lawrence, Chief Product Officer at JAGGAER, says: "Today, we're not launching a feature—we're activating the intelligence foundation for JAGGAER's future.

"This isn't about adding AI to procurement. It's about transforming procurement into an intelligent system—one that learns, adapts, and gets better with every decision. JAI is how we'll scale expertise, accelerate outcomes, and unlock a new era of value for our customers."

Agentic AI has emerged as the trend pushing procurement forward, with companies announcing new solutions to reshape the foundation of the function. JAI was designed with JAGGAER to help reshape the relationship between procurement and technology.

As part of its JAGGAER One platform, JAI is the evolution of Assist – an embedded conversational chatbot, which is powered by LLMs, utilising tools like Q&A capabilities, PO invoice anomaly detection and Gen AI drafting and summarisation with new and even more powerful orchestration tools.

From co-pilot to autopilot

By harnessing JAI, customers will be able to access an intuitive and efficient end-user experience across the platform – all built with the equally important asset, "Human in the Loop".

JAI can be added to the procurement team's toolset from today – giving users instant access to the conversational assistant with contextual coaching which will streamline procurement by answering questions, guiding navigation and initiating tasks like RFP creation and supplier evaluation.

JAI will continue to evolve, as the co-pilot will offer advanced contextual support, identifying outliers and suggesting actions, with real-time guidance across sourcing, contracting and supplier management saving hours of analysis. It will be followed by JAI Autopilot, the no code/low code agentic platform for autonomously managing complex procurement workflows to elevate strategic decision-making.

This pragmatic evolution offers JAGGAER customers speed and scale they can trust.

JAGGAER will look to evolve its AI tools even further, as the autumn will see JAI provide the full orchestration of intelligent features by developing agent orchestrators to handle tasks like forecasting, spend management, cash flow management, contract management and RFx automation, into a unified, conversational and outcome-driven experience.

JAI was built with one mission in mind, to revolutionise how its users can engage, decide and deliver outcomes. As AI agents have been used to execute tasks such as PO match, supplier outreach end-to-end, JAI will orchestrate those agents in co-pilot mode with its human users, towards a business goal. JAI will help to coordinate across domain agents—be it sourcing, contracting or category strategy.

The JAGGAER AI roadmap will see the evolution of JAI into an autopilot across the next two years, ending in "truly autonomous procurement" thanks to its ability to execute adaptive as well as deterministic workflows independently, while users act as high-level overseers and decision-makers.
