CEVA Logistics signs a long-term contract with Ferrari to manage transport for both Formula 1 and Hypercar teams, adding visibility and logistics scale

Ferrari is renewing its trust in CEVA Logistics, extending a long-term partnership to support its Formula 1 and Hypercar operations with expanded logistics services.

The new deal keeps CEVA as Official Logistics Provider and elevates it to Premium Partner for both Scuderia Ferrari HP and, starting in 2026, the Ferrari Hypercar programme.

As Ferrari races on the track, CEVA Logistics continues to race behind the scenes – delivering the precision, timing and global coverage needed to move a world-class motorsport operation.

The renewed multi-year agreement sees CEVA managing a wide range of logistics responsibilities for Scuderia Ferrari HP while expanding its support to cover Ferrari’s Hypercar team.

This includes route planning, mode selection across land, sea and air, picking transport partners, handling customs procedures and activating emergency protocols. CEVA also commits to improving sustainability across operations by adopting lower-carbon transport options where possible.

CEVA Logistics CEO Mathieu Friedberg says: "Since 2022, CEVA Logistics has demonstrated its commitment to pursuing the operational excellence, innovation and low carbon solutions required by a customer like Ferrari. Becoming a Premium Partner of Scuderia Ferrari HP, and now Ferrari Hypercar, is proof of CEVA’s ambition and ability to deliver excellence in support of Ferrari."

Headquartered in Marseille, France, CEVA operates in 170 countries with 110,000 staff across approximately 1,500 sites.

Moving equipment at scale, fast and clean

Since the start of its work with Ferrari in 2022, CEVA teams have handled complex race logistics across the calendar. So far, they have supported 92 Grand Prix races across the globe, translating to:

  • Six kits shipped each season, each made up of six 40-foot containers
  • More than 4,000 tonnes of race assets moved
  • 52 countries crossed
  • More than 600,000 kilometres travelled, roughly the distance from Earth to the moon
  • A multi-modal setup combining ocean freight, trucking, air freight and rail

For CEVA, precision and adaptability are key. From choosing the fastest and most efficient mode of transport to responding to customs challenges, the logistics operation adapts to meet the demands of a global racing calendar. That includes emergency protocols when delays or disruptions strike and optimising where logistics kits are stored globally to reduce returns to Italy.

Rail transport is also gaining a larger role in CEVA’s efforts to reduce emissions. In 2023 and again in 2025, CEVA combines rail and ocean freight to move equipment from Maranello to Antwerp for shipment to the Shanghai Grand Prix, cutting the environmental impact compared to air freight.

Ferrari’s Chief Racing Revenue Officer Lorenzo Giorgetti says: "Ferrari share with CEVA Logistics a common culture built on the pursuit of excellence, innovation and teamwork, values that drive performance both on and off the track in Formula 1 as well as in the World Endurance Championship.

"Over the past years, CEVA supported our racing activities around the world, combining precision and reliability with a clear vision for sustainability. As we strengthen our collaboration, we continue to push boundaries together, guided by the same pursuit of speed, efficiency, and progress that defines the Ferrari spirit."

Hypercar challenge adds new dimension

From 2026, CEVA will take on logistics responsibilities for Ferrari Hypercar, which competes in the FIA World Endurance Championship – the top tier of endurance racing. Ferrari enters this class with the 499P, which has collected major wins, including three consecutive victories at the 24 Hours of Le Mans between 2023 and 2025.

Ferrari Hypercar finished the 2025 season by clinching both the Constructors’ and Drivers’ World Championship titles. Car no. 51, driven by Antonio Giovinazzi, James Calado and Alessandro Pier Guidi, claimed the top spot in a season that underlined Ferrari’s strength in endurance motorsport.

As CEVA steps into Hypercar logistics, it continues to build on its experience with Scuderia Ferrari HP. This includes expanding its logistics network and adopting sustainable options, including using local storage to reduce back-and-forth shipments.

With the addition of endurance racing to its portfolio, CEVA reinforces its role in enabling Ferrari’s racing ambitions, without losing sight of its own target to become one of the top five logistics firms in the world.

From container ships to customs desks, CEVA handles the heavy lifting so Ferrari can focus on racing.
