Agility and Rockfarm Supply Chain Solutions announce joint venture
Agility Logistics Solutions and Rockfarm Supply Chain Solutions have announced the formation of a joint venture, Agility Domestic Solutions (ADS). This new business division is focused on meeting the domestic supply chain needs of the customers of Agility.
Francesc Casamitjana, CEO of the Americas Region for Agility, said: “Agility has offered robust global logistics services to our chemical customers for over a decade and we want to continue to expand those same service capabilities to more chemical and traditional commercial accounts.
“Rockfarm Supply Chain Solutions allows us to provide domestic transportation management solutions with the level of detail and execution that our customers have come to expect.”
This new joint venture will offer clients a combination of Network Optimisation, Carrier Procurement, Shipment and Order Management, Freight Audit and Payment plus specialised and tailored logistics solutions for customers as required.
David Thorpe, Managing Director of ADS, said: “Our customers are under constant pressure to find domestic carriers and providers that meet their needs. Through this new JV, we can provide and manage these carriers to meet their service requirements at a lower cost,”
