Elemica, leading provider of supply chain integration and optimization services to the chemical, tire and rubber, energy and selected manufacturing industries, has been named a Top 100 Logistics IT Provider for 2011 by Inbound Logistics magazine for the second consecutive year. Elemica was chosen because their innovative Logistics Management solution advances logistics and supply chain excellence.

"We remain committed to providing advanced technology solutions that help our customers achieve the visibility and control they need to succeed in the global marketplace," Mike McGuigan, CEO of Elemica, said. "We understand the challenges our customers face on a daily basis, and we consistently strive to deliver solutions that address the growing complexity within their supply chains."

Elemica's Logistics Management Suite includes road and ocean solutions for carrier booking and visibility and terminal and warehouse solutions. The solution suite provides transportation, customer service and purchasing organizations more reliable and efficient load planning, real-time shipment visibility, lower demurrage and detention costs, routing guide compliance, reduced inventory and lower working capital.

"Elemica was selected because its solutions solve specific logistics challenges and improve processes, and create a ripple effect of efficiencies across the entire value chain,” Felecia Stratton, Editor of Inbound Logistics, said. “Inbound Logistics is proud to honor Elemica for innovative solutions empowering logistics and supply chain excellence in 2011."
