SHEIN Marketplace joins forces with fulfilment tech firm ShipBob to expand seller reach, offering new tools to streamline operations and delivery speed

SHEIN Marketplace’s latest move centres on a new partnership with fulfilment platform ShipBob, a collaboration that gives third-party sellers direct access to tools that help them scale faster and streamline logistics.

Though introduced during SHEIN Marketplace’s first-ever seller community event in Los Angeles, it’s the ShipBob integration itself that stands out as a strategic turning point in the platform’s expansion.

SHEIN, s global e-commerce giant headquartered in Singapore, is known for offering fashion and lifestyle products both under its own brand and from third-party sellers.

The company’s US Marketplace arm is working to deepen seller support and build infrastructure to help merchants meet demand and grow their businesses. ShipBob now plays a direct role in that.

ShipBob is a global fulfilment and logistics company built for small and mid-sized e-commerce brands.

The platform helps sellers track inventory, manage orders and deliver faster using a network of more than 60 fulfilment centres worldwide.

Now, with SHEIN Marketplace as an integrated sales channel, ShipBob merchants gain a clear path to a new customer base and the ability to automate their operations on a global scale.

ā€œChannel diversification is key to unlocking new growth opportunities,ā€ says Dhruv Saxena, Co-Founder and CEO at ShipBob.

ā€œWith the ShipBob integration, SHEIN Marketplace sellers can now streamline their operations, manage orders seamlessly and deliver exceptional service to customers across the globe.ā€

For SHEIN sellers, that means more than just fulfilment efficiency. The platform’s benefits - zero monthly fees, low referral charges and a built-in advertising offer at no cost - already present a low-barrier entry.

With ShipBob, that’s now paired with a powerful backend system for order management and shipping, especially in the US where fast delivery is critical.

Why SHEIN needs ShipBob’s fulfilment network

The decision to integrate ShipBob reflects a wider focus on seller infrastructure. The partnership gives SHEIN sellers direct access to fulfilment tools that were previously harder to navigate independently, especially for small businesses trying to scale.

By syncing inventory, product listings, orders and shipment tracking, sellers get a unified dashboard that cuts time and improves accuracy.

It also solves a major ecommerce challenge: balancing low prices with reliable delivery.

SHEIN has long operated under the “de minimis” exemption, a rule that allows retailers to ship items valued under US$800 to the US without paying import duties. While that allowed lower prices, the exemption has faced backlash from lawmakers and was closed by President Donald Trump.

With higher tariffs now affecting direct-to-consumer imports, local fulfilment becomes more important. ShipBob’s US warehouses offer a workaround, letting sellers store inventory closer to customers, reduce delivery times and avoid customs complications.

For SHEIN, that ensures their marketplace continues to deliver without delays, even as policy changes affect international shipping.

How sellers are adapting and growing on the platform

The SHEIN Marketplace event, branded “Elevate”, was designed to bring together its growing seller base with tech partners like ShipBob.

Held at SHEIN’s Los Angeles office, it offered hands-on learning and celebrated success through the SHEIN Seller Awards.

“Bringing together our vibrant community of sellers and partners for this intimate in-person event marks an exciting milestone in our SHEIN Marketplace growth journey,” says George Chang, General Manager and Head of SHEIN Marketplace US.

ā€œElevate reflects our continued commitment to empowering entrepreneurs, fostering innovation and offering an incredible shopping experience for our customers. We're inspired by the energy and turnout at the event, and the momentum it creates for the future.ā€

Among the winners was Monster Digital, a direct-to-garment printing company recognised for sales performance and customer engagement.

"Joining SHEIN Marketplace has been a game-changer for our business," says Jon Halvorson, Vice President of  Partnerships at Monster Digital.

"We've experienced significant growth by staying responsive to customer feedback, quickly adapting to emerging trends and making full use of the robust tools and guidance provided by SHEIN's Seller Support team. The platform has not only helped us boost sales but also given us valuable insights into Gen Z shopping behaviour and evolving fashion trends."

With ShipBob on board, that type of growth becomes more achievable across the board. Sellers now have logistics tools on par with larger brands, enabling them to compete on delivery speed and customer satisfaction while keeping operational complexity low.

Elevate also featured participation from other third-party solution partners like Flexport, Aftership, Feedonomics and SellerCloud.

Together, they represent the broader ecosystem SHEIN is building to support merchant growth from product listing management to shipping to customer service.
