1. Sivananthan Sukumaran

Job From: Managing Director of DHL Supply Chain Indonesia

Job To: Head of Operations for the Southeast Asia, DHL Supply Chain 

In his new role, Sukumaran is responsible for enhancing overall operational efficiency and performance, and ensuring the successful implementation of new business wins across the organisation’s Southeast Asian operations.

He joined DHL Supply Chain in 2014 as Indonesia’s GM Operations and rose to the role of Senior Operation Director, Consumer & Retail. 

In his most recent role as MD, Sukumaran oversaw a team of 4,500, and earned a reputation for driving growth and improving overall performance in DHL Supply Chain Indonesia.

2. Louis Liao 

Job From: MD, SF Express, Taiwan

Job To: MD, DHL Supply Chain Taiwan

Liao began his career as an Assistant Operations Manager in DHL Supply Chain Taiwan's Service Logistics operations team in 2008. In 2014, he relocated to Japan as Senior Manager of Technology in Japan, where he was instrumental in customer development and in implementing global IT projects for service logistics. Before rejoining DHL Supply Chain Taiwan, Liao oversaw country strategy, planning and implementation as the Managing Director of S.F. Express in Taiwan. He successfully led the organisation through the Covid-19 pandemic and initiated long-term strategic infrastructure investments

3. Adam James

Job From: Director, Sales, CH Robinson Worldwide

Job To: Director, Association for Supply Chain Management (ASCM)

ASCM has its 2024 Board of Directors. Among the three newly appointed members is Adam James, Sales Director of the world's largest third-party logistics provider, CH Robinson. James has spent the past 21 years at the company, which he joined as a sales rep. 

4. Dr Jonathan Clark Whitehead

Job From: Leader, Warehouse Solutions Design, Wincanton

Job To: Senior Consultant, SCALA

SCALA, a global supply chain and logistics consultancy, has appointed Dr Jonathan Clark-Whitehead as a senior consultant. He says: “I am keen to bring my skills and experience to SCALA’s new and existing clients to support them through supply chain and logistics challenges.”
