Coca-Cola Europacific Partners expands its partnership with Systal to support the integration of 6,500 devices across 300 European locations

Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP) the leading beverage manufacturer has established its first direct partnership with Systal Technology Solutions to drive its European network transformation journey and optimise supply chain functionality.

Systal, a global managed cloud, security and network transformation specialist, will support more than 6,500 devices in 300 locations across eleven European countries for CCEP.

For six years Systal has, through a multi-partner agreement, helped CCEP improve its network.

This improvement has been made through supply chain rationalisation, building a new manufacturing system and increasing product diversification, cementing CCEP’s status as a leading manufacturer.

Fuelling CCEP's transformation strategy

Systal has experienced consecutive years of strong double-digit revenue growth, most recently by 77%.

In 2023 Systal was the only new entrant among 17 businesses in Gartner’s 2023 Magic Quadrant™ for Managed Network Services.

This new direct partnership will enhance CCEP’s business continuity across its distribution and manufacturing network infrastructure.

"CCEP has been investing heavily to support its global growth ambitions, which is why we’ve been working in partnership with the company to grow its business." says Neil Wisbey, CIO at Systal.

" We worked with CCEP to transform its network, which was reaching the performance limits of its ageing equipment and needed a new, robust and up-to-date environment that ensures the constant availability of its products.

"The benefits can be seen across its manufacturing and distribution infrastructure.

"With a new manufacturing system, CCEP has benefitted from a more efficient supply chain that’s helped the company reduce downtime and increase the stability and reliability of its manufacturing environment.

We’re proud to have given one of the world’s leading consumer goods companies the confidence to work faster and reliably get the right products to customers when they need them while supporting its growth plans."

Systal will be empowered to effectively and rapidly deliver the flexibility and higher value needed to drive CCEP’s network transformation journey.

Central to CCEP’s business ambitions is its quest to become the world’s most digitised bottler, integrating sustainability and technological innovation into making, moving and packaging.

CCEP’s intricate supply chain and network infrastructure is critical to its transformation strategy, which includes diversifying product categories including alcohol and coffee.

CCEP: Digitising bottling to meet consumer demand

Optimising its supply chain function is critical to the success and efficiency of CCEP.

With manufacturing locations across Europe, and a diversity of popular brands, CCEP's drive to digitise its bottling process is driven by its need to enhance competitiveness and productivity.

It's machines are currently capable of producing over 100,000 bottles an hour, a number that must be maintained and then increased to meet rising consumer demand.

CCEP has built strong, collaborative supplier partnerships to facilitate this and deliver superior customer service.

SAP Ariba

CCEP for example has partnered with SAP Ariba, a market leader in end-to-end Source-to-Pay solutions, to efficiently and sustainably manage transactions.

These include using the Ariba Network to engage with customers, managing commercial contacts and sourcing events in addition to electronically exchanging purchasing orders, shipping notices, and invoices.

Ariba Network also enables CCEP to provide complete transparency pertaining to document status and master data.

As one of the most iconic and influential manufacturers on the planet, CCEP has embraced digital transformation to become more interconnected and agile, improving the quality and speed of its network infrastructure.

Systal is another partner that will help CCEP achieve its digital transformation goals through technological skill and expertise.

“We are excited to partner with “Systal”, a company known for its expertise in Network infrastructure solutions.” Tim Davies, Director of Infrastructure and Network Services at CCEP says.

“This contract will significantly enhance our operational efficiency and allow us to better serve our customers and stakeholders."
