Etosha Thurman -- Chief Marketing & Solutions Officer for SAP Intelligent Spend and Business Network -- on the importance of listening to customers

Speaking at SAP Spend Connect 2023, Chief Marketing & Solutions Officer for SAP Intelligent Spend and Business Network, Etosha Thurman, discusses the importance of having a two-way conversation with its partners, to produce the best business outcomes.

Speaking to Procurement Magazine Editor, Neil Perry,  Thurman said: “This is one of the key points of my job and what we are here, is to listen to the market, not just our customers, to listen to analysts, partners, customers, non-customers, the media and really to get a sense of what's happening in the spend management space holistically to ensure that we are addressing the most pertinent needs."

She added: “I will continue to listen because if we are off the mark somewhere, I expect for the market to help us course-correct, because our purpose is to bring the solutions that help businesses run better, and that's what we're committed to doing. So it's exciting to be able to share the steps we're taking to fulfil that mission."
