VDart EcoVadis recognition follows Accenture mentorship
US-based global IT firm VDart has earned recognition from the leading business sustainability ratings organisation, EcoVadis.
VDart, which has around 4,000 employees across 14 countries, has been awarded Bronze Medal Certification as recognition of its sustainability efforts, putting it in the top 50% of organisations globally.
This certification recognises that VDart has “a commendable management system that effectively addresses a wide range of sustainability criteria”.

VDart has worked closely with Accenture on its sustainability performance, having been part of Accenture’s sustainability mentorship initiative, the Diverse Supplier Development Program (DSDP).
Accenture ESG mentorship vital for VDart
This mentorship has helped VDart develop its sustainability roadmap by adopting and implementing United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and by reducing its carbon footprint.
Nedra Dickson, a Managing Director at Accenture, leads the company’s global supplier inclusion and sustainability programmes across 21 countries, and is also responsible for procurement operations across 30 nations in Europe.
Her deep expertise in procurement transformation and supplier relationship management has seen her manage an estimated US$2bn in labour spend.
The programme is currently running in the US, Canada, UK, South Africa, Mexico, Germany, and India, with plans to further expand its reach.
Dickson has elevated Accenture’s supplier diversity spend to approximately $1bn globally, and she is also credited with expanding Accenture’s DSDP.
She says of VDart’s sustainability success: “I’m proud of the amazing work of VDart on its sustainability journey.
