Todd Boehler is SVP of Strategy at vendor risk management company Process Unity.

He opened his keynote by saying: “Procurement is looking to perform actions such as sourcing, understanding lines of business, categorising those products and services they want to bring on board and performing the appropriate evaluation of which vendors or suppliers are going to be contracted with your organisation. 

“You are then evaluating through that process behaviours are you looking to enforce, that match your ESG practises.

“You need to care about their impact potential is on your reputation. Certainly regulatory pressures are an issue, but it's far more than than just that.”
