His journey began in software development, where he built a strong foundation in technological systems. Transitioning to risk analysis, he gained expertise in identifying and managing risk, enhancing his strategic capabilities.
This diverse experience has shaped his approach to procurement and digital transformation. Aswani’s background equips him with a holistic view of how technology and risk management intersect with procurement. In his current role at stc Kuwait, he harnesses this knowledge to drive innovation, streamline processes, and lead digital transformation and connectivity efforts in the region.
Aswani emphasises the importance of demonstrating that procurement could be an “enabler” rather than a hindrance to business operations and values collective efforts to enact a shared vision.
