The new COOL Nordic cargo hub at Helsinki Airport, known in the industry as the "COOL Terminal" is the most modern air cargo terminal in Europe and one of the newest air freight hubs in the world. All its operations are coordinated by the COOL Control Center and its brand-new warehouse automation system is linked to a cargo management system and work-steering process. Together with Finnair’s next-generation Airbus A350 XWB fleet, the terminal will increase Finnair’s cargo capacity and raise the bar for both environmental performance and operational efficiency of the Nordic airline.
