These organisations ensure the safe transportation of millions of tonnes of goods every day, whether via air, sea, road or rail, covering everything up to last-mile delivery.
At the helm of these powerhouses sits their trailblazing chief executives, many of whom are using their influence to drive positive change.
More companies are implementing new technology or forming partnerships to increase efficiency - all of which is overseen by their CEOs.
Here, Supply Chain Digital takes a look at the Top 10 Logistics CEOs.
10. Dave Bozeman

Dave Bozeman has been the CEO of C. H. Robinson since 2023, having amassed more than 30 years of experience in leadership and management across industry-leading companies.
His roles over the years have seen him work in middle-mile transportation and manufacturing, as well as digital and customer service.
Dave is a member of the Board of Directors at 3M, The Brookings Institution and The Conservation Fund. He has a Bachelor of Science in Manufacturing Engineering Technology, as well as a Master of Science in Engineering/Industrial Management.
9. Mathieu Friedberg
Company: CEVA Logistics
Revenue: US$18.3bn
Employees: 110,000
Mathieu is the CEO of CEVA Logistics, having held the position since 2020.
He has worked in the shipping and logistics industry for 25 years, meaning he brings a wealth of knowledge to his leadership role.
CEVA is a subsidiary of CMA CGM Group, for which Mathieu has worked for 20 years, occupying a host of senior leadership and operational roles.
CEVA designs and operates supply chain solutions for large and medium-size national and multinational companies, spanning more than 170 countries.
8. Patrick Kelleher
Company: GXO Logistics

Employees: ~150,000
After three decades at DHL Supply Chain, Patrick joined GXO Logistics as CEO in 2025.
He brings experience in leading performance improvement across the Americas, having worked across consumer goods, healthcare, manufacturing and technology.
Patrick is known for his attention to operational detail and a strong emphasis on customer value.
He has already begun applying his wealth of knowledge at GXO, the contracts logistic company managing outsourced supply chains and warehousing.
Patrick has a BSBA in Business Logistics from John Carroll University.
7. Stefan Paul
Company: Kuehne + Nagel
Revenue: CHF 27.3bn (US$34bn)
Employees: ~81,000
Stefan has been with Kuehne + Nagel since 2013, progressing through the logistics management ranks before becoming CEO in 2022.
It marks his second stint at K + N, where he spent seven years in the 1990s, prior to 15 years at DHL.
Stefan’s career in logistics has seen him work across the length and breadth of Europe in numerous management roles.
Founded 130 years ago in Germany, K + N now has 1,300 sites in almost 100 countries.
6. Soren Toft
Company: MSC
Employees: 200,000+
Soren is the CEO of MSC Mediterranean Shipping Company, a role he assumed in 2020.
He oversees MSC’s global cargo business, including ocean liner, logistics businesses, towage and air cargo.
Soren boasts more than 25 years of experience in the shipping industry, having worked as Chief Operating Officer at Maersk prior to his move to MSC.
He is a Chairman of the World Shipping Council and member of the Board of Directors of Terminal Investment Ltd.
5. Scott Temple

Scott joined FedEx Supply Chain in 2019 as President and CEO.
He leads the development of innovative business strategies, enabling the business to deliver leading supply chain solutions to companies around the world.
Scott, who oversees FedEx warehousing, managed transportation and fulfilment solutions, is dedicated to delivering outstanding care to every FedEx customer.
Beginning his career as a Sort Manager and Operations Coordinator at FedEx Ground, he has worked in operations and logistics management since 1994.
4. Carol B. Tomé
Company: UPS
Revenue: US$91.1bn
Employees: ~490k
Carol served on the Board of Directors at UPS for more than 16 years before becoming the organisation’s CEO in 2020.
Prior to this, she worked at The Home Depot for 24 years, serving as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for almost two decades.
Carol initially retired after departing The Home Depot, but, hungry for a new challenge, she subsequently took the leadership reins at UPS at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic – becoming its first-ever female CEO.
3. Vincent Clerc

Vincent has been with A.P. Moller - Maersk for more than 20 years. Over the years he has taken on a range of leadership roles including VP, Head of Marketing for North America and VP, Head of Trade in the Pacific Service.
In 2023, his unrelenting commitment to the business was recognised when he was appointed as CEO.
Vincent is responsible for overseeing the integration and implementation of a range of logistics solutions which protect and simplify customers’ supply chains.
2. Hendrik Venter
Company: DHL Supply Chain
Revenue: EUR 84.2bn (US$92.9bn) (DHL Group)
Employees: 573,100 (DHL Group)
Hendrik has worked at DHL Supply Chain for 16 years, during which time he has taken up positions in locations including South Africa and Poland.
Having led the business in various regions, such as South Africa and Eastern Europe, he became CEO of DHL Supply Chain in 2025, taking over from Oscar de Bok.
His priorities include a focus on customer experience, believing it to be central to DHL’s mission.
Before joining DHL, Hendrik worked at consumer goods giant Colgate-Palmolive for almost 15 years, including in the Czech Republic and the Netherlands.
Hendrik has a Bachelor of Engineering and a Hons. B. B&A of Business Management & Administration.

Jens joined DSV way back in 2002 as Group Chief Financial Officer, a role he held for almost 20 years.
Following stints as Group Chief Operating Officer and Vice CEO, he became Group CEO in 2024, putting him in charge of a global team that is responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of goods for thousands of businesses.
Having gained his MSc in Finance and Audit from Copenhagen Business School, Jens began his professional career as an auditor, before moving into corporate finance.
Today, as CEO of DSV, he leads a team of 75,000 and a network spanning more than 80 countries.
Jens is laser-focused on inclusivity and empowerment in the workforce, while committing to a greener future for logistics.
