The following is a list of the top ten busiest airports in Europe, based on the number of passengers in 2015, according to Airport Council International Europe

#10 Barcelona–El Prat Airport

Also known as Barcelona Airport, Barcelona–El Prat Airport is the second largest airport in Spain, and the tenth busiest in Europe. In 2015, it had 39,711,276 passengers and is a main base for Vueling and a hub for Iberia Express, Air Europa and Ryanair. The airport mainly serves European locations, as well as North and South America, the Middle East, Asia and Africa.
