Mythics awarded contract to install Oracle solutions across 60,000 government agencies

Mythics, a value-added reseller and systems integrator headquartered in Virginia Beach, VA, revealed this week that it had been awarded a government contract to provide Oracle technology solutions to over 60,000 participating agencies throughout the United States. Participating agencies include: K-12 school districts, cities, counties, municipalities, public schools, state agencies and universities.

The contract will reportedly offer participating agencies a more streamlined, efficient and competitively priced procurement mechanism for Oracle Cloud (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS), software, technical support, engineered systems, hardware and training, as well as enabling services.

"The County of Maricopa is proud to have served as the lead public agency for this solicitation and the resulting awards to Mythics. The five-year contract, with renewal options, were based on a competitive solicitation process that meets our statutory procurement requirements for selection of IT partners based on their proposals and value offered to Maricopa County in meeting our IT objectives.  We are also pleased that Maricopa County is able to provide the contract vehicle for this offering nationwide to meet the objectives of other entities," said James Foley, Deputy Chief Procurement Officer for Maricopa County, AZ.
