The cloud-based transportation and delivery management firm Centiro has achieved gold level in a rating for environmental, social, and ethical performance performed by the independent supplier sustainability rating platform EcoVadis.

The EcoVadis assessment evaluates how well the company has integrated the principles of sustainability into its business and management system.

The assessment is evidence-based covering business ethics, work environment, environment and energy footprint, procurement and important social factors. EcoVadis’ international area experts look at a large volume of information from diverse sources to ensure reliable scoring.

“We want to be an inspirational example of how dedicated and systematic work in sustainability and CSR creates real and sustainable results, a concerted effort to contribute to a better society,” says Niklas Hedin, Centiro CEO.

“We have built it into our management system to make absolutely certain we systematically deliver value beyond obligations.”

Centiro underwent its first EcoVadis evaluation in 2016 and was immediately rated silver. Since then, the company has worked with the feedback from the EcoVadis assessments to further improve, undergoing annual re-evaluation to keep focus on this important work.

“With the EcoVadis rating, we can ensure our customers we take our sustainability commitments seriously. Achieving gold is the evidence – we are doing it right,” says Hedin.

Centiro now ranks at the exclusive top 5% of the rated companies globally in the IT-sector.
