What inspired you to get involved in the event?
Having worked with BizClick previously I know how successful these events are and how broad the reach is across industry for procurement professionals.
I have learnt a lot from attending previously, and hearing colleagues' views on trends and opportunities helps me when thinking about strategy and how fit we are to deliver an excellent service to Heathrow.
What do you hope to achieve through the event?
I hope to learn from others about what they are doing to drive excellent service. Hearing about innovation, digitalisation and service always triggers opportunities for us to be better than today and this forum has supported me in that aim over the last few years I have attended.
What emerging trends do you believe will shape the future of procurement and supply chain over the next decade?
Sustainability is no longer a trend but a constant requirement. Trends that I see emerging are capacity as UK plc targets growth, the speed at which procurement needs to operate versus how it operates today, and how we better support our people with tooling that enables them to be great at their jobs. That's particularly important given how much more procurement professionals are being asked to do.
