Jon Hughes, Scope 3 Global Lead & UK Sustainable Supply Chain Lead at KPMG LLP
Jon Hughes leads the UK Sustainable Supply Chain team at KPMG and is also the Scope 3 Global Lead.
Before his current role, Jon spent eight years at Ford and BMW, sharpening his procurement expertise. At KPMG, he helps businesses to reduce their costs, undertake digital overhauls, embrace sustainability and reduce their risk.
Jon has managed projects in Zero Waste to Landfill, Sustainability KPIs, Human Rights, Scope 3 decarbonisation, and has produced recent work on EUDR Due Diligence.
Over his 25 years of experience in the procurement and supply chain industries, Jon has worked with a spectrum of sectors, such as legal services, private healthcare, technology, property and financial services, business services, food and drink, retail and consumer markets, automotive, transport and construction, demonstrating a versatile approach to his client's needs.
His collaboration with Diageo has propelled his team into the finalist spots for the 2024 MCA Awards' Sustainability Project of the Year.
