Ardent Partners name Dennis Silva “Innovator of the Year” at 2018 Summit
Supply chain research and advisory firm, Ardent Partners, announced this month the winners of the Best-in-Class Procurement Leaders Recognised for Outstanding Achievement at the CPO Honours 2018 Gala in Boston, Massachusetts. Ardent established the Chief Procurement Officer Honours to celebrate “the procurement function and recognise the accomplishments of the profession’s top leaders and teams”. The awards are widely regarded as being the most prestigious in the procurement sector.
This year, Ardent Partners have named Dennis Silva, CPO of BCNET, the “Innovator of the Year”, for his work “helping unlock new opportunities for his company by fostering engagement among supply management professionals, institutional leaders, and their suppliers”. Silva joined BCNET, a not-for-profit shared services organisation based in British Columbia, in 2016. His role at the company has centered around setting up sector-wide procurement initiatives to reduce costs and improve administrative efficiencies.

“It was a tremendous pleasure to attend the CPO Rising Summit 2018 event. For procurement leaders, the opportunity to network and connect with CPOs from organisations represented at this conference is a great investment of time”, said Silva. “The summit was also inspirational; as a CPO, listening to the speakers and talking to the attendees, it reaffirmed that our profession can make a significant impact to our organisations”.
