BEND, Ore., Mar. 10, 2020 /PRNewswire/ --

BEND, Ore., Mar. 10, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- Oregrown will open its newest store in the heart of Cannon Beach, Oregon, at 10am on March 13th, 2020. An official ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place at 5:30pm led by Cannon Beach Mayor Sam Steidel.

Located at 215 NW Hemlock Street, the Cannon Beach Flagship is Oregrown's third store to open statewide since first launching its award-winning dispensary and lifestyle brand in Bend, Oregon, in 2015, and new Portland Flagship this January.

The Cannon Beach community will now enjoy Oregrown's award-winning retail experience and a dedicated space for discovering best-in-class cannabis products.

"With the new Cannon Beach retail experience, our customers and patients come first —  everything we do, we do for them," said Aviv Hadar, Oregrown's Chief Executive Officer. After ten months of planning and development, the store opens to customers and patients across the area while also attracting visitors traveling the Pacific Coast along Oregon's coastal 101 highway.

The opening also demonstrates Oregrown's direct engagement and continuing involvement with local community efforts.

"We recognize that through our ongoing community engagement, we are able to generate a new level of interest in the geographical areas where we open new Oregrown Flagship locations," said Hadar. "Our brand brings new customers to town and our exclusive products generate waves of interest. When we open our doors to serve our beloved customers and patients, neighboring businesses thrive and local commerce increases. We are extremely eager to open our doors in the crown jewel of the Oregon Coast."

Founded in Bend, Oregon, one of the few towns nationwide where surf culture is as popular as snow culture, Oregrown's roots are deeply intertwined with life on the Oregon coast. Oregrown's Cannon Beach Flagship Store merges the company's profound appreciation for the great outdoors with Cannon Beach's world-class coastal lifestyle and ocean landscape.

"We look forward to welcoming Oregrown to Cannon Beach at their March 13th Grand Opening ribbon-cutting celebration," said Buddie Anderson, Member Coordinator at the Cannon Beach Chamber of Commerce. "We are happy to have Oregrown as a new member of our Chamber family."

Located on the main drag of Cannon Beach's central hub, Oregrown's Cannon Beach Flagship takes much of its inspiration from the laid back towns that sprinkle Oregon's coast. The design is approachable, appealing to the sensibilities of locals and visitors — its modern yet down-to-earth surf-shop-style storefront sitting genuinely at home among the many mom-and-pop boutiques lining bustling Hemlock Street. Fittingly, Oregrown is one of the few statewide cannabis groups that remains wholly owned by family and friends.

The store features local art and local staff with a unique Cannon Beach charm that makes the new Oregrown flagship a standout along the Pacific Coast. With flooring specially designed to withstand the inevitable tracking-in of sand from the beach just a block away, the space welcomes beachgoers fresh off the dunes or surf to stop in and unwind.

The Cannon Beach Flagship features Oregrown's coveted, organic flower, extracts, and concentrates, plus a wide variety of expertly curated cannabis products highlighting Oregon's finest producers. The store also offers a curated selection of soft goods and accessories from Oregrown's lifestyle branded clothing line — geared towards those who appreciate a daring, adventurous lifestyle and visitors looking for a keepsake from their time well spent enjoying the Oregon Coast. The store's March 13th opening will unveil several new product offerings including exclusive items only available at Oregrown's Cannon Beach location.

"We are humbled to bring a little taste of our brand to the most beautiful town on the coast," says Hadar. We designed this with a lot of love, to highlight the essence of Cannon Beach, in awe and appreciation for the wonders of our incredible Oregon coastline. Our teams can not wait to begin welcoming customers."

The Cannon Beach Oregrown Flagship Store opens at 9am on March 13th. Following a Ribbon Cutting with the Cannon Beach Chamber of Commerce and Cannon Beach Mayor, Sam Steidel, at 5:30pm, the celebration moves up the street where Oregrown is hosting an open-to-the-public reception at Public Coast Brewery from 7pm-9pm.

Hours of operation will be from 10am to 9pm, Monday through Sunday, with call-in pickup orders available daily, and delivery available between 12pm and 6pm.

Oregrown's Bend dispensary has been awarded Best Budtender (2019), Best Place to Work (2017), Bend's Best Place to Visit for First Dispensary Experience (2016), and Bend's Best Dispensary five years in a row (2015-2019).
