P&SC Awards: Ninian Wilson Wins Lifetime Achievement
Ninian Wilson, Global Supply Chain Director & CEO of Vodafone Procurement, has won the Lifetime Achievement Award at The Global Procurement & Supply Chain Awards
"[The Lifetime Achievement] is an amazing award. Not really for me, but actually for all of my team that I work with at Vodafone and all the previous people I've learned from in my time at British Gas and my time at Royal Mail and Cable Wireless. So it's for all of those individuals, not necessarily just for me," Ninian Wilson, CEO of Vodafone Procurement.
An influential leader in procurement and supply chain, Ninian Wilson is the CEO of Vodafone Procurement and Group Procurement Director. Ninian has been with the telecommunications company for over a decade as an integral driver of strategic procurement and sustainable business practices.
In his role as CEO and Group Procurement Director, Ninian leads the supply chain organisation and is responsible for all technology procurement, all indirect spend, supporting all 26 Vodafone Operating companies, and sits on the Board of Vodafone Procurement Co.
Over the years, Ninan has been pivotal in reshaping Vodafone’s procurement strategy, improving the company’s supplier relationships, supply chain efficiency, and profitability. Ninian is also an advocate for sustainable procurement implementing stringent sustainable sourcing practices, and has been at the forefront of incorporating digital technologies into the company’s procurement processes.
“It was an honour to spotlight such a wide range of incredible companies at the inaugural Global Procurement & Supply Chain Awards,” said Glen White, CEO of BizClik, Procurement Magazine and Supply Chain Digital.
“At a time where it is crucial that companies are getting their global sourcing, risk & resilience and technology strategies right, it's important to celebrate the successes of those who have implemented and developed the key supply chain, procurement and logistics programs, especially when it has a positive impact on sustainable supply chains in the future.
“To host the awards during Procurement & Supply Chain LIVE London is an incredible moment for the sector to celebrate, we encourage many more companies to enter our Awards for 2025.
“Thanks to every company that entered - it's important that you stay focused, motivated and continuously innovative and I am excited to see so much more of Generative AI when we meet again in a year.
“And a Big Congratulations to every company who entered, those that are highly commended and of course to our 14 winners – we appreciate your input more than you know.”
