Webinar: Exploring Spend Efficiency with Coupa & Rossum

Fragmented finance and procurement systems create obstacles that extend beyond administrative inefficiency.
When organisations scale at pace, disconnected platforms and manual processes can disrupt supply chain operations and supplier relationships.
Delayed payments, restricted spend visibility and siloed teams affect the ability to manage supplier networks.
This could mean longer lead times and reduced collaboration across the procurement function.
Coupa and Rossum are hosting an exclusive webinar on this subject, titled The Global Accounts Payable Blueprint: Eliminating Fragmentation for Real-Time Visibility, taking place on June 17, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM BST.
Webinar explores fragmentation solutions
The webinar will examine how disconnected accounts payable workflows affect supplier payment cycles and procurement efficiency. Partners since 2024, Coupa and Rossum announced at Coupa Inspire this year that Coupa would be acquiring Rossum.
This acquisition expands their partnership, which already automates complex AP invoicing, to bring IDP capabilities to the entire Coupa portfolio. The integration could support autonomous spend management through agentic AI.
Customers already benefit from Rossum's embedded AP capabilities within Coupa. The expanded offering aims to scale that value across all direct and indirect spend, powered by a specialised Transactional Large Language Model.
Acquisition targets invoice processing delays
Rossum's IDP technology could deliver faster processing and cost savings for organisations managing complex invoicing data. According to Leagh Turner, Coupa CEO, the acquisition addresses gaps in the source-to-pay function.
"Rossum changes the game entirely. As a strong partner since 2024, we know there is incredible value in bringing the two companies together across the entire source-to-pay function," says Leagh.
“The combined value of Coupa and Rossum has been proven in AP and invoicing, and we see massive future value in applying Rossum’s T-LLM and AI-first technology across the Coupa platform. We’ve been able to deliver over US$300bn in customer savings over the past 20 years. With Rossum, we believe we can help them save the next $300 billion in five with a system of decision and intelligence that is unrivaled.”
Rossum replaces outdated OCR with an AI-first architecture. The proprietary model, trained on tens of millions of documents, continuously learns from data to reduce time-to-value.

Eurowag case study demonstrates impact
The duo worked alongside Accenture to support Eurowag, which looked to resolve fragmented manual workflows and siloed operations caused by corporate acquisitions. The London-based commercial mobility and financial solutions provider standardised its procure-to-pay processes using Coupa.
By replacing disjointed invoice workflows with automated AP solutions and Contract Lifecycle Management across its 2,000-employee footprint, Eurowag established 100% standardised AP processes groupwide. This created complete real-time spend visibility.
The overhaul, which included automated three-way matching, strengthened financial controls to prevent fraud and overpayments. According to Eurowag, the company improved its paid-on-time performance by 30%.
Faster payment cycles could improve supplier relationships and reduce supply chain friction. According to Marcella Mathes, Head of Finance Processes and Digital Finance at Eurowag, the transformation provided audit trail visibility.
"Coupa provides a clear, traceable link between purchase orders, receipts and invoices, supporting finance and compliance with a reliable audit trail," says Marcella.
Professionals will have the chance to hear from those involved during the exclusive webinar as they break down the collaborative strategy that modernised Eurowag's operations. Attendees will discover how the team built a standardised, end-to-end AP process and used AI automation to establish a single source of truth for all spend data.
The webinar will cover:
- The transformation strategy: how Eurowag shifted from reactive, manual firefighting to proactive, real-time spend management
- The power of integration: a deep dive into the unified Coupa and Rossum ecosystem, and how Accenture designed a core model scalable across 60 global entities
- Tangible business outcomes: how Eurowag achieved a 70% automation rate, slashed processing time from nine days to just four and boosted on-time payments to more than 90%
- Scaling for the future: a first look at their 2026 roadmap, focusing on advanced AI strategies and centralised global supplier contracts
Finance, procurement and IT leaders looking for a practical blueprint to eliminate operational friction and build a data-driven foundation for global growth should attend.
