Celebrating diverse voices

The Women in Supply Chain webinar, in association with Amazon Business, will take place as a focused discussion on advancing women in supply chain leadership. In recent years, supply chain strategy has largely focused on technology, but it remains spearheaded by the people themselves. These leaders are channelling innovation and driving advancement, with more women entering the scene.

The panel will focus on how the industry is developing into a more diverse and rich sector, celebrating new types of leadership and performance as the industry moves into the future. 

Though women are working steadfastly across the industry, industry research demonstrates a significant drop-off at the higher levels, resulting in a leadership team dominated by men.

Emma Loyden, Head of Third Party Risk Management at Santander

Emma has worked in banking leadership for almost 20 years, focusing on business resilience and risk mitigation. Throughout her career, she has developed, implemented and managed transformative supplier assessment frameworks, as well as provided end-to-end assurance to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements. 

Emma has proven her strong leadership skills, particularly in environments of heavy change. Much of this leadership focuses on communication and collaboration in order to build positive working relationships which empower staff and clients. She is a believer of uplifting female entrepreneurs and female-led businesses, with a dedication to opening doors for diverse voices.

Jarrod Glover, Director of Cost Management and Procurement at Santander

With an extensive career in leadership at Santander, Jarrod has led a range of professions and teams as they drive business success. Throughout this, he has shown a dedication to driving innovative solutions and celebrating his staff.
