Supply Chain Awards: Transformation Project of the Year

The Transformation Project of the Year category at the Global Supply Chain Awards celebrates those initiatives that push forward the standard of operational excellence.
In an era of constant change and shifting parameters, teams must innovate to remain relevant. The need to redesign processes and use digital technologies to elevate operations has never been greater.
Those organisations that are delivering projects demonstrating not just success, but measurable improvement in efficiency, agility and performance, are encouraged to apply for this award.
Innovation all in one room
With more than 1,000 attendees confirmed so far, the Global Supply Chain Awards will bring together industry leaders in innovation together in one room. On 8 September 2026, supply chain leaders will sit down for an exclusive black-tie dinner at the iconic JW Marriott Grosvenor House London to celebrate their achievements over the past year.
As well as shining a light on the organisations that are pushing the bar when it comes to shaping future functions, this category also allows us to celebrate those projects that have led the way when it comes to transforming the way we work for the better.
Honouring initiatives on a global scale
We are looking for those initiatives that have approached digitisation head-on, showing how to use new technologies to innovate and push supply chains further into the future. This could be leveraging a new opportunity to scale an existing process, or turning an existing process on its head to increase efficiency.
If your team or wider function has spent the past year changing for the better and has the results to shout about, we want to help honour those achievements.
This award is not about simply transforming for the sake of it, but instead our judges will be taking note of strategic initiatives that have yielded tangible results.
The judging criteria:
Our judges will be taking note of the following factors:
- How has the individual demonstrated leadership beyond their role?
- What innovative ideas or projects have they contributed to?
- How do they embody the values of growth and learning?
- What potential do they show for future industry impact?
Teams recognised for transformation projects previously have been commended for accelerated development through new initiatives and setting new standards for efficiency, compliance and resilience.
Why this award matters
When change is not just being asked of us, but expected, making it meaningful and measurable has never been more important. This award presents an opportunity to put those project achievements at the forefront, shining a light on the leaders responsible for moving our function forward in a big way.
This stage is the perfect platform to validate the hard work you and your team put into transforming our function, creating a more agile structure to lean on for future changes.
