People Moves: Hendrik Venter, DHL Supply Chain

Hendrik Venter has been appointed as CEO of DHL Supply Chain, effective 16 August.
He steps into the shoes of Oscar de Bok, who becomes CEO of DHL Global Forwarding for Freight, replacing the retiring Tim Scharwath.
An experienced logistics leader
Having joined the organisation in 2009, Hendrik boasts more than 15 years of experience in senior leadership positions at DHL Supply Chain.
In October 2019, he assumed the role of CEO for Mainland Europe, Middle East and Africa, taking responsibility for the business in 25 different markets. His focus was on strengthening and expanding the region's growth, as well as driving standardisation.

Oscar de Bok to head Global Forwarding
Oscar joined DHL Group in 1999 and was Managing Director of DHL Supply Chain for several countries and regions, including Italy, the Nordics and Asia. In October 2019, he became CEO of the wider business.
