How ORO Labs AI Orchestration Fixes Procurement Chaos

Six years after it was established, ORO Labs has secured US$100m in Series C funding, marking a significant milestone for the AI-native procurement orchestration company.
The investment will enable the firm to expand its operations and support customers facing mounting procurement challenges in an increasingly volatile business environment.
The funding round, led by Growth Equity at Goldman Sachs Alternatives and Brighton Park Capital, includes participation from Norwest Venture Partners, B Capital, XYZ Capital and Felicis. This brings the company's total fundraising since 2020 to US$100m, positioning it to accelerate customer success initiatives and product development.
For supply chain professionals, ORO Labs represents a potential solution to the fragmentation that has long plagued procurement operations. The platform is designed to integrate with existing business systems rather than replacing them entirely, offering end-to-end process visibility that helps teams reduce cycle times and maintain agility amid market fluctuations.
AI-native platform for procurement
ORO Labs was founded in 2020 by Lalitha Rajagopalan, Yuan Tung and Sudhir Bhojwani in response to the growing complexities facing procurement teams. At that time, processes were typically scattered across multiple systems, with approvals handled through emails and spreadsheets requiring substantial manual intervention.
The platform leverages intelligent workflows and deep integrations across business systems to streamline procurement operations. According to the company, its solutions help organisations reduce lead times, prevent non-compliant spending and maintain real-time visibility across procurement activities.
In 2024, ORO Labs reports 300% revenue growth, which the company attributes to increasing demand for modernisation across procurement, finance and supply chain functions. The client roster includes major global enterprises such as Booking.com, Pfizer, Danone, The Coca Cola Company, Stellantis and Bayer.
Orchestration layer brings intelligence to operations
The platform offers capabilities spanning supplier onboarding, source-to-pay processes, spend and category intelligence, negotiations, sourcing, supplier intelligence, contracts and risk management.
Rather than requiring companies to abandon legacy software, ORO's technology is designed to work alongside existing systems, providing what the company describes as an orchestration layer.
"Demand for procurement orchestration has skyrocketed because of one fundamental truth: procurement teams simply cannot continue to operate like they always have," says Sudhir Bhojwani, Co-Founder and CEO of ORO Labs, in a press release.
"The market volatility, disruption and price pressures are too severe. Companies need a layer that brings order and intelligence to the chaos – and that layer is orchestration."
For supply chain leaders, this approach addresses a critical challenge: how to improve efficiency without disrupting established workflows or requiring wholesale technology replacements. The platform builds on a knowledge graph of how each company operates, adapting to individual requirements while expanding its capabilities.
According to ORO Labs, it has already demonstrated impact at a global pharmaceutical company, where it reduced the time required for compliance checks, suggesting potential applications for organisations navigating complex regulatory environments.
Investment fuels go-to-market expansion
The fresh capital will be directed towards accelerating go-to-market efforts and product innovation. For supply chain teams at global enterprises, this means enhanced support for new product commercialisation and supply chain operations that require rapid decision-making without compromising quality, accuracy or control.
“Demand for procurement orchestration has skyrocketed because of one fundamental truth: procurement teams simply cannot continue to operate like they always have," explains Sudhir Bhojwani, Co-Founder and CEO of Oro Labs.
"The market volatility, disruption and price pressures are too severe. Companies need a layer that brings order and intelligence to the chaos – and that layer is orchestration."
As procurement increasingly becomes recognised as a contributor to business resilience, platforms like ORO Labs serve as support systems for professionals managing supplier relationships, risk and spend across complex global networks.
The company's focus on user experience and seamless integration suggests an understanding of the practical challenges facing procurement teams operating under pressure.
With this funding secured, ORO Labs aims to help additional customers reach their full operating potential, potentially reshaping how supply chain and procurement functions approach digital transformation in an era of persistent market volatility.
