Driving agentic AI in complex environments

As part of the new collaboration between Siemens and NVIDIA, Siemens’s Fuse EDA AI Agent system will be paired with NVIDIA’s AI infrastructure to reshape semiconductor and printed circuit board (PCB) design workflows. 

The next evolution of industrial AI relies on moving beyond autonomous task orchestration to continuously validated engineering outcomes.

The platform equips AI agents with domain-specific intelligence by integrating the NVIDIA NeMo Gym open library and Nemotron open models. These autonomous agents can execute multi-step engineering tasks and reason through complex decisions, as well as learn from previous execution strategies.

“By integrating NVIDIA AI infrastructure into our Fuse platform, we are giving our customers self-verifying AI agents that autonomously execute and prove their work against physics-based engines.”

Faster engineering convergence shortens lead times

Built on the NVIDIA OpenShell runtime, the platform protects sensitive hardware IP while giving compliance teams full visibility and complete audit trails.

Boosted by NVIDIA CUDA-X libraries, design teams can reach signoff-quality results in hours rather than days. Lower token use and lighter computing demands also make it far cheaper to scale across large teams.

For high-tech supply chains, faster engineering convergence leads to shorter lead times and a more predictable manufacturing schedule. As semiconductor and hardware manufacturing networks become increasingly distributed, automated self-verification ensures multi-tier supplier operations maintain strict quality standards without manual intervention.

Examining orchestration at Supply Chain LIVE 

As agentic AI becomes ever more integrated into physical engineering workflows, making sure interconnected networks run seamlessly requires design, procurement and logistics teams to all be on the same page. 

This movement towards holistic supply chain orchestration will be a central topic at the Supply Chain LIVE: The London Summit, hosted by Supply Chain Digital and BizClik. The event takes place from 8 to 9 September 2026 at the QEII Centre in Westminster, London, UK.

The dedicated Supply Chain Orchestration Panel is scheduled for 9 September 2026 from 10:45am to 11:30am BST on the Supply Chain Stage. The session will gather senior leaders to discuss strategies for balancing automated execution with human oversight.
