Leaders will be discussing a range of topics at the ThinkTank stage
As supply chains become more complex, CEOs are heading to the CXO Summit in October in order to explore leading strategies for navigating complexity

Global organisations are no longer facing isolated shocks – now, disruption has become a continuous state of business operations. CEOs are navigating global markets, with concerns about business stability and revenue growth.

This shift has pushed business leaders to prioritise resilience over efficiency, though many of these leaders are still failing to execute their plans effectively.

The CXO Summit, 7-8 October in London, is an opportunity for executives across all global industries to come together and discuss business strategies. Ensuring supply chains can navigate volatility is at the centre of the summit, as leaders confront a question that has moved from operations meetings into the boardroom: how do you keep a complex organisation running when markets shift without warning.

The CEO Summit, taking place on the ThinkTank Stage, brings chief executives together for open conversation on growth strategy, innovation at scale, governance and stakeholder trust, all viewed through the lens of resilience under pressure.

Attendees will hear chief executives describe what sustainable profitability looks like when supply networks face constant disruption. The panel will examine how leading CEOs weigh short-term performance against long-term transformation, and what that balance means for organisational agility across sourcing, logistics and production.

Supply chains under pressure

The case for the CEO Summit's agenda rests on data that points to strain across global supply networks. According to a PwC survey of chief executives navigating global markets, only three in ten currently feel positive about revenue growth for 2026, with many struggling to convert AI investment into returns that reach the supply chain.

Approximately 12% of executives surveyed said factors such as AI have already delivered cost and revenue benefits, which could show the technology's growing role in supply chain efficiency for some global CEOs this year. Most respondents remain cautious despite this pocket of optimism.

One in five CEOs say their organisation is exposed to financial loss from tariffs, a figure that points directly at cross-border supply chain exposure. Separately, 31% cite cyber attacks as a major threat, a risk that extends into supplier networks and logistics systems as much as corporate infrastructure.

These pressures have pushed many CEOs towards reinvention measures aimed at protecting supply continuity as well as growth. According to the same survey, 44% of those questioned expect to invest outside their current industry, with technology named as the most attractive sector, and 51% plan to make international investments through 2026, a move that could reshape sourcing and supplier relationships across regions.

This shift suggests a growing focus on resilience among current CEOs, one where supply chain leadership sits alongside financial performance as a boardroom concern. The priority now appears to be positioning enterprises for what comes next, particularly as AI and geopolitics continue to reshape supply networks across industries.

The CEO Summit and the wider CXO Summit will give C-suite executives space to address these shared concerns over the two-day event. Attendees will also have access to branded opportunities, workshops and strategy discussion sessions built around supply chain resilience and risk.
