In a significant move with potential to reshape the airport logistics landscape, Vanderlande has signed an agreement to acquire Siemens Logistics from its current owner, Siemens

The acquisition brings together two powerhouses in logistics automation, combining Vanderlande's leadership in warehouse, airport and parcel automation with Siemens Logistics' expertise in baggage handling, cargo operations and digital solutions for airports.

The deal, which has received full approval from the Supervisory and Management Boards of both Vanderlande and Toyota Industries Corporation (TICO) – Vanderlande's parent company – as well as Siemens' Management Board, represents a strategic response to the evolving dynamics of global logistics automation.
