Amazon Web services hires supply advisor

Amazon Web Services (AWS) in Amsterdam, Netherlands, has hired Sebastian von Berg as a Principal Advisory Consultant, Supply Chain, Transportation & Logistics.

AWS provides a scalable infrastructure platform in the cloud that powers hundreds of thousands of businesses in 190 countries. von Berg will drive transformational digital supply chain solutions for AWS customers.

Deloitte bolsters Oracle supply chain team

Deloitte has welcomed eight new joiners to its Oracle Supply Chain Transformation (OSCT) team. OSCT helps businesses transform and innovate using Oracle Cloud products. The new members are: Nimesh Bavishi, Girish Byahatti, Tonmoyee Goswami, Avaneesh Gupta, Azfaar Khan, Paul Stones, Nathan Cutter and Sharmistha Ghosh.

ANZ supply chain firm hires analyst

One of Australia’s leading supply chain consultancies, Prological Consulting, has appointed Alexander Cetinski as an analyst.

Prological designs and implements supply chain, energy and business strategy solutions across key industries in Australia and New Zealand. Cetinski - who majored in supply chain management and marketing - joins from an education technology provider.

He said: “I’m passionate about Supply Chain Management and look forward to making a material impact on our customers’ operations and the Australian business landscape.”.

Prological MD Peter Jones said: “At a time when our clients have a growing need to access and analyse more data than ever, Alexander brings unique skills and insight to supply chain operations.”Off-grid UK energy supplier Calor Gas has hired two new supply chain and fulfilment graduates, Ayesha Iqbal and Elena Rogers. With its team of 800, Calor is the UK’s largest liquefied petroleum gas delivery network.

Off-grid UK energy supplier Calor Gas has hired two new supply chain and fulfilment graduates, Ayesha Iqbal and Elena Rogers. With its team of 800, Calor is the UK’s largest liquefied petroleum gas delivery network. 

Calor National Transport Planning Manager Rick Pearson said: “Ayesha and Elena will help us change the game across fulfilment and supply chain.”

Supply chain chief for air-con giant

Henrik Thorén Beijer has joined global cooling technology and air conditioning specialist, Beijer Ref, as Chief Supply Chain Officer.

Prior to joining, Thorén Beijer was VP Supply Chain & Procurement Vestas Business Unit Service, a business that offers solutions and performance optimisation around wind turbines.

Supply & procurement recruitment roles

Recruitment consultancy Robert Walters has hired Rosie Stevens to its Procurement and Supply Chain team. Stevens will oversee its permanent junior to middle-management market across the South East and London.

In another supply chain recruitment appointment, Europe-wide operator Badenoch + Clark has welcomed Serina Panesar to its Procurement and Supply Chain division. Panesar will be its contract specialist around interim procurement appointments.
