How DOUGLAS is Fulfilling Strategic Supply Chain Goals

DOUGLAS was founded more than 200 years ago and is a pioneer in beauty innovation.
Today, the international retail group is made up of several brands including NOCIBÉ, Parfumdreams, Niche Beauty and DOUGLAS.
Now, Europe’s leader in omnichannel premium beauty has expanded its presence in Poland with a new 10-year warehouse lease.
“The new central warehouse for the Central and Eastern European region is a milestone in the realisation of DOUGLAS' strategic supply chain goals,” says Michal Niechaj, Supply Chain Director Corporate Brands & CEE Region at DOUGLAS.
“The facility will serve two purposes: to support the entire European market through the distribution of exclusive brands and to meet the omnichannel delivery needs of all CEE countries. This approach reinforces DOUGLAS' commitment to operational excellence and customer satisfaction across the region.”
DOUGLAS settles into CTPark Warsaw South
Having signed a 10-year lease with CTP, DOUGLAS will utilise more than 46,200 sqm of warehouse and office space at CTPark Warsaw South. The new location will be the company’s main distribution centre in Poland and its third location worldwide supporting their omnichannel sales service.
DOUGLAS will occupy the entire WARS 01 building, taking up 1,317 sqm in office space and 44,940 sqm in warehouse space in a strategic location for its supply chain management.
With this new space, DOUGLAS will be able to store up to eight million products at once with the potential to supply 350 stationary perfumeries.
Products stored at CTPark Warsaw South will be distributed in Poland, central Europe and the Baltic states of Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. The warehouse will also supply European stores with private-label products.
Having entered the Polish market more than 24 years ago, DOUGLAS has been successful in strengthening it position in the country through investments in opening and modernising perfumeries, as well as developing an ecommerce platform for a wide range of brands and products.
The strategy has included investment in modern and efficient warehousing and logistics solutions that comply with the highest ESG standards.
Piotr Flugel, MD for Poland at CTP, adds: “We welcome DOUGLAS to CTPark Warsaw South, which will provide an optimal environment for their main distribution centre in Poland through its modern facilities, strategic location and its first-rate ESG credentials, as one of only 10 warehouse properties in Poland with a BREEAM certificate at the highest Outstanding level.
“Having signed a 10-year lease, we look forward to developing our relationship with DOUGLAS, as part of our strategy to support and grow with our existing tenants with whom two-thirds of our leases are signed.”
DOUGLAS' global supply chain
DOUGLAS' new distribution centre at CTPark Warsaw South marks a significant step in strengthening its supply chain across Central and Eastern Europe.
The facility will support its omnichannel retail services by streamlining its product distribution in Poland, the Baltic states and Europe. Its expanded capacity not only enhances its efficiency to meet both store and ecommerce demands, but also meets its ESG commitments with BREEAM Outstanding certification.
The facility uses heat pumps, photovoltaic systems and smart metering to optimise energy use, as well as robotics and automation to further improve logistics efficiency and reinforce supply chain resilience.
By securing a 10-year lease, DOUGLAS ensures long-term stability while reducing reliance on third-party logistics. Additionally, the warehouse will act as a key hub for exclusive brand distribution, positioning DOUGLAS as a leader in sustainable, technology-driven supply chain operations.
