Capgemini, one of the world's foremost providers of consulting, technology and outsourcing services today announced it has been awarded the Quality Award from Cisco.

One of four global awards that Cisco distributes annually to top suppliers, the Quality Award recognises exemplary performance in teamwork, communication and responsiveness to Cisco’s business directives, while also demonstrating excellence in service and operational performance in the key foundational areas of productivity, delivery and support.

Rob Falivene, VP and Chief Procurement Officer at Cisco, said: “Capgemini has demonstrated high client intimacy and understanding of Cisco’s priorities, bringing industry-leading practices and high-quality talent to work on Cisco projects.

“This award recognises Capgemini’s excellence in delivering innovative solutions that support Cisco’s Adaptive Enterprise vision.”

Additionally, as strategic partners, Capgemini and Cisco jointly offer a number of innovative services to customers in the areas of storage, security, Unified Communications (IPT), application acceleration and others. They also collaborated with other leading firms to form The Smart Energy Alliance, which aims to revolutionise the creation and deployment of game-changing solutions for power distribution operations.

“We are honored to receive the Supplier Quality Award for 2014 and thank Cisco for the recognition.” said Tim Bridges, CEO, Application Services, Capgemini North America. “We pride ourselves on our strong strategic partnerships and excellence in delivery of our industry-relevant solutions, and this award recognises our investments in both areas.”
