Abu Dhabi Ports Company (ADPC) has won the hotly contested Port of the Year award, for its work managing different cargo businesses and its work in stakeholder and partner alliances to develop maritime business potential.

The award was presented to ADPC CEO, Captain Mohamed Juma Al Shamisi at The Maritime Standard Awards, which were held at The Atlantis, Dubai on Thursday 6 November.

Captain Mohamed Juma Al Shamisi said:  “This award is a great honour and recognises the work ADPC is undertaking to actively drive trade and economy in the emirate, by delivering world class port services and developing the business potential of all of our maritime assets, particularly the Emirate’s flagship Khalifa Port”.
