VP, Global Head of Supply Chain Management Business Line Catalysts Evonik
Ceylan holds a degree as Chemical Engineer from the University of applied science Aachen (Germany) and a MBA from the Eastern Michigan University in US. She has over 23 years of working experience in specialty chemicals. She started her career as a board assistant in a start-up and switched in 2001 to Merck KGaA / Darmstadt as an internal consultant. After different roles in product management as Head of Solid Applications and Customised Products and Corporate Senior expert in talent management she moved to Evonik in 2013. Here she performed several roles in HR as Global Business Partner and took over in 2019 the role as Head of Strategy & Integration Supply Chain & Business Process Management for the Division Smart Materials. In her role she was responsible to develop the SCM functional strategy, SCM sustainability roadmap and SC Risk Management. Since 2023 Ceylan is in her current role as Vice President VP Global Head of Supply Chain, Business Line Catalysts. Ceylan runs the global supply chain team with over 70 team members in Asia, Europe, North and South America, including the demand and supply balancing process, production and, inventory planning and customer service – all the distribution and logistics topics and material sourcing.
