Louis Vuitton, PHILIPS Healthcare, Huawei, Carrefour, Alstom, EUSU - Hanjin Logistics, BASF, Rexel, Capgemini Consulting are some of the companies which will speak at the 25th Supply Chain Forum-ISLI organized by KEDGE Business School on its campus Bordeaux, Tuesday, March 17, 2015.
Each year for the last 25 years without fail, KEDGE BS organizes thanks to the students of the ISLI MSc its Supply Chain Forum and welcomes supply chain directors and managers of all around the world. It is a moment during the year where professionals within the field can come together to discuss, exchange, and share amongst themselves and the future supply chain players, their experiences and their vision.
“Because this year is a special year for ISLI as it marks the 25th edition of the ISLI Supply Chain Forum, and the 30th year of the existence of the ISLI program, the time has come for a moment of reflection, said Dominique ESTAMPE, ISLI Director at KEDGE BS. There are numerous factors that impact the supply chains and appear to challenge more and more their ability to adapt. These factors include: the environmental constraints, the models of consumption, the emerging technologies and the consequences of the current economic models. Therefore, the solutions of today will no longer work for the problems of tomorrow, and without a doubt there will be a need to combine adaptability with durability.”
That is why the ISLI Forum wishes to bring together the best supply chain specialists, as Shoumen DATTA, Professor, Research Affiliate, School of Engineering, MIT, to discuss the following themes:
• Sustainable Supply Chain
• Insure your Supply Chain Control : Critical Success Factors
• Sourcing Strategies: Reshoring vs Offshoring
• How to manage Supply Chain Relationship and Collaboration?
• New Technologies: Big Data, 3D Printers, Drones
These themes will first be presented and then open for discussion in a round-table style format. The discussion and a summary of the proposed solutions will be grouped together in a White Paper so that each participant can conserve some of the elements of the discussion around the main question that we are proposing this year: How to Plan the Future Together?
